McMinnville Curbside Yard Debris Recycling

While our Greenlands yard debris depot remains a huge success, over 15,000 tons handled each year, we have continued to have requests for curbside service. That is why we have created the McMinnville pilot program in 2009. We have had nearly 300 customers subscribe.

For only $9.25 a month you will receive a 90 gallon yard debris cart serviced every-other-week.

- This will be added to your garbage and recycling account bill. At least once a month garbage makes you eligible for Curbside Yard Debris.

Weeds, leaves, vines, grass, fruit, vegetables, tree pruning, anything organic that grows in your yard

Plastic bags, dirt, sod, rock, trash, food waste, pet waste, flower pots, lumber, stumps, ashes.

- Be sure all material fits in the cart with the lid closed, make sure your cart does not weigh over 150lbs.

What if it doesn't all fit in the cart?

• Purchase WOW 30 gallon yard debris bags for $4 each at Greenlands or the WOW office. (There is no additional charge at time of pick up when using WOW bags. All other yard debris bags will incur a $4 charge at time of pick up)
• Subscribe to additional carts
• Take your extras to our Greenlands yard debris depot

- No other types of extras (plastic bags, cans, or bundles) will be picked up curbside.

Time to set it out

Place your cart and any extra yard debris bags curbside by 6am on your garbage day. The yard debris cart is serviced every-other-week on the opposite week from your recycling. Need a calendar? Download to your Calendar program or view online.

If you are currently putting yard debris in your trash cart you may be able to save while diverting waste from the landfill by signing up for yard debris.

Your service time may vary quite a bit as we fine tune this new service. Please have the cart out by 6am and leave it until 5pm.
